Privacy Policy

The short version: the app keeps your data on your computer, and the website only collects what it needs to sell you the app and deliver it.

The Octopus app

Octopus runs locally on your PC. The lists you collect, your settings and your WhatsApp session are stored in a folder on your computer (%APPDATA%\AhtapotV2). None of it is sent to us. The app has no account, no telemetry and no license server. While it runs it talks to Google Maps, WhatsApp Web and, the first time, the Chrome driver download service, the same way your browser would.

When you buy

Payments are handled by our payment provider, Payoup. We never see or store your card details. We receive your name, email address, the amount and an order reference so we can deliver your download and help with support or refunds.

Delivery emails

We use your email address to send your download link and to reply when you write to us. We keep a simple order record (email, order reference, date, download count) to stop download links being misused and to handle refunds. We don't sell or rent your information, and we won't add you to a marketing list.

The website

Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. If we turn on Google Analytics, it uses cookies to count visits and see which pages help people decide. You can block those cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for support, refunds, tax and legal obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (California, for example, under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights. Email info@gmapleads.online and we'll reply within 30 days.
